Mrs. Daley

I'm a homeschooling mom to a curious and energetic 7-year-old. Since we both love learning by doing, I've always enjoyed creating lessons and projects to go alongside his homeschool curriculum. It's given me lots of practice planning engaging activities and finding meaningful ways to connect what we're learning to everyday life. Best of all, it's been something we've both enjoyed learning through together.

Nature-based learning is a big part of my life through our homeschool co-op, Gather and Grow, where families take turns sharing their passions and teaching classes. I have the opportunity to teach science-based lessons, and I also recently began co-teaching Garden Buddies. Working with these students has inspired me to keep digging deeper into the natural world and finding new ways to make science meaningful and memorable.

Along with many years of helping mentor my eight godchildren and volunteering with children in school and church settings, these experiences have deepened my love for helping kids discover the world around them and connect what they're learning to their everyday lives.

I live in Fallbrook with my husband and son, and we love being outdoors and close to family. I'm endlessly inspired by thoughtful design, whether it's found in architecture or in the patterns and systems of the natural world. Sketching has always been one of my favorite ways to process ideas and capture inspiration, and I love creating beautiful, welcoming spaces where people can learn, gather, and feel at home. I'm grateful to be part of such a supportive community of independent educators and look forward to continuing to learn alongside my students.
